just replace it with the right size of vacumn hose sold by the foot at better auto parts stores like Napa and online. Cut with scissors and it is a push fit on the fittings.
no
A Dodge Dakota does not have a rear washer fluid reservoir. On most newer vehicles the washer fluid for the rear windshield comes from the washer fluid reservoir from under the hood. If you are not getting wahser fluid to the rear windshield it could be that the line is frozen or clogged with dirt or the line could be disconnected somewhere.
The windshield washer pump on a 2002 Camry might have quit working because of a hole in a vacuum line. Also, inspect the washer fluid tank for leaks and check the pump and pump fuse.
you may have a block in the line behind the pump stopping the fluid
I cut out the bad section of the plastic line. Bought rubber tubing at the Auto Parts store to fit the OD of the plastic line and plugged them together. It works fine.
To fill the washer fluid for the rear windshield on a Chrysler Pacifica, locate the washer fluid reservoir under the hood. The reservoir typically has a cap marked with a windshield symbol. Open the cap and pour in the washer fluid until it reaches the appropriate fill line. Close the cap securely after filling.
out of winshiel washer fluid, does the motor run when you push the fluid despense button ? if so suspect plugged line, broke line ,if it does not run suspect fuse or windshield pump motor.
First check under the hood, there might be a separate reservoir for it right by the windshield washer reservoir. It might also be at the back, lift the tailgate and there might be a little cap with a windshield wiper logo. Or the rear window washer might work off the front windshield reservoir. If it's shared at the front, then you'll have to keep the windshield washer fluid above the middle line on the windshield washer reservoir tank at least. Open the rear hatch. On the driver's side, there'll be a filler cap which is used to fill the rear window washer reservoir.
Trace line back to nearest junction and replace line
My Question is:How do you AsembleandDisassenbleAWindshield washer motorfor a1991 Chevy S-10?Is there a Diagram Available on line? Thanks a lot
The hose line runs differently for all three vehicles that were checked in the catgory box - however - it can safely be said that - starting at the windshield washer fluid pump - through the body channels to the rear spray nozzle.
If Your Question Is That You Are Not Getting Much Water Onto The Windshield. Look For The Screen To Be Partially Stopped Up In The Washer Fluid Tank Or The Hose. Also You Could Have A Small Hole In The Line Not Allowing The Unit To Pull The Fluid To The Wipers.
