To flush the antifreeze in a 1996 Cadillac STS, start by allowing the engine to cool completely. Remove the radiator cap and drain the old coolant by opening the drain valve at the bottom of the radiator or disconnecting the lower radiator hose. Once drained, close the valve or reattach the hose, fill the system with a mixture of water and coolant, and run the engine with the heater on high to circulate the fluid. Finally, drain the mixture again and refill with the appropriate antifreeze solution, ensuring that the system is bled of any air.

Considering that General Motors has several class action suits against them in regards to Dexcool (pink antifreeze) I would flush using the green antifreeze. The best thing to do is go online to bgfindashop.com and locate a shop near you to flush the system. They will add a cleaner and run it then do a reverse flush that will remove all the antifreeze from the system including the heater. Once that is completed they will add a conditioner.
by getting a Bars Leakradiator leak at walmart
vehicle will overheat. just dump the oil and antifreeze , flush engine and refill with clean oil
I would recommend you drain it out, flush the system, and install the correct green coolant that Ford recommends. Using the wrong coolant can damage parts.
it is not mud. Most 94 and later GM'S come out with Dexcool antifreeze. If it hasn't been changed it will kinda look like mud. My recomendation would be to flush the whole cooling system and replace with regular or universal antifreeze.
