assuming itis the switch and not the motor remove switch n hot wiretillup or use switch out of other side.....
It is not possible to replace single switch in the driver side window cluster of Ê2000 Chevy Tracker. The cluster is only sold as one piece and single switches cannot be purchased.
you should be able to take the cover off the driver's door by unscrewing it,then unplug the window switch and replace it,fairly easy..
it could be your window switch..try changing it
If it is just the driver side window and button, more than not the master control switch needs to be replaced. It could also be the window moter or reg. Either way its around $100 if its just the switch that's bad.
It could be the switch, power source to the switch, or the motor is burnt up. More than likely the motor is the problem since the driver side get a great deal more use than any other.
I would try the window switch first , but if you are going to replace the switch then you will see how to replace the motor. You would have to take the door panel apart after that its easy.
To program the Master Power Window Switch Control on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, first ensure that all doors are closed and the ignition is in the "On" position. Next, press and hold the driver's side window switch down until the window is fully open, then release it. After that, press and hold the switch up until the window is fully closed, then release it again. This process should reset the window control and enable proper functionality.
