Well I don't have the answer, but I do have the same problem. Any one out there know how to remedy this problem ?
There is a bigger fuse box under the hood my daughter put a penny in the cigarette lighter and took the big fuses out there. They look like little plastic containers and you can see the fuse that is blown No one could tell me that. I found it on my own. I think its a conversion van thing. I talked to napa and auto zone and they had no clue about that second fuse box.

Bulbs? Open wire from switch to lights? Corroded light sockets? Bad ground?
You may have the main switch turned on for the light. If the main switch is on, closing the door will not result in the light going off.
I have a 2002 Dodge GC Sport and have the same problem. Mechanic said it probably needs the"Front Control Module " replaces...thing that turns lights on when switch is activated (Door open, or dim switch max'd). Good luck
If you have flickering lights and smell wires burning in your Dodge Caravan, you need to get that checked out by a professional. This actually happened to me once too and my van started on fire, it was horrible.
There is a faulty fuse that goes to the interior lights. There could also be a short in the wiring that leads to the lights.
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches
try the multifunction switch located on the steering column .
To dim the lights on a 2013 Dodge Charger, locate the headlight switch on the dashboard, typically found to the left of the steering wheel. Turn the knob or slide the switch to adjust the brightness of the interior lights. For exterior headlights, ensure they are in the "Auto" or "On" position, then use the same control to adjust brightness. If you need to dim the instrument cluster lights specifically, there is often a dedicated dial near the headlight switch for that purpose.
Most dash lights have a setting knob to turn the dash lights on and off and to dim them, maybe this switch is off.
check the bulb again, are BOTH filaments good
Push the button below them.
