theres a idle control on the trottle body. theres two 10mm bolts to loosen and move the cable to idle higher. then tighten the bolts..... do this with the engine running.
You need to turn off the Overdrive switch.
It is bolted onto the throttle body
vacuum leak.
Where is the idle speed motor located at on a 1995 chevy blazer?
The idle speed on your 1995 Cadillac Eldorado can be set by adjusting the fuel pump adjustment screw. Turn the screw to the right to increase the idle speed.
have you checked the spark plugs and wires? if not try replacing those... my 95 eagle talon did about what yours is and I just replaced the plugs and wires and it runs like a top (with over 200,000mi on it!)
Idle speed is controled by the computer. Unless there is a screw on the throttle body it is not adjustable.
Sounds like you idle sincere is bad try replacing it and see what happens.
Idle speed is not adjustable. It is computer controlled, and if incorrect there is as sensor or vacuum problem.
Computer controlled - not adjustable
900-1200
The idle speed depends on the year model. The GTs from 1993 to 1995 should have idles speed between 650 and 800rpm. I believe the 1996 and 1997 models had a slightly different idle speed, but either way 1500 sounds too much. You can adjust idle speed on your car of course.
