You could try running a fuel system cleaner through it. I would try using a fuel catalyst as well, might take a bit longer to clean out your engine, but it will help. On older cars especially, sometimes there's some hard carbon deposits that have formed in the combustion chambers. A fuel catalyst will help burn those off and help your vehicle burn fuel more efficiently. The one I use on my Jeep is Fuel Infusion - www.fuelinfusion.com. I've seen a consistent 10-15% savings.
There's also the standard maintenance stuff you can try: make sure your tires are inflated properly, replace your air filter, don't drive with the pedal to the floor, etc...
