To install a power window motor on the driver's side of a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Remove the door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and carefully prying off clips to access the window motor. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old motor, unbolt it, and then replace it with the new motor, securing it in place. Finally, reconnect the wiring, reassemble the door panel, and reconnect the battery to test the new motor.
