you gotta take the old one out first
to change o2 sensor ,you need to buy a o2 sensor socket from a parts store then disconnect neg terminal on battery ,after that disconnect wire connecter on o2 sensor and remome o2 sensor
I have a 1998 Metro with the 1.3l and the Camshaft Position Sensor is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
under he motor mount
it is located on the head
It is possible as the signal from the oxygen sensor is sent to the computer
that must be some metro to have a big block
On a 1999 Chevy Metro, the oxygen sensor is typically located in the exhaust system, either in the exhaust manifold or downstream near the catalytic converter. The mass air flow (MAF) sensor is found in the air intake duct, usually between the air filter and the throttle body. Both sensors are crucial for monitoring air-fuel mixture and emissions.
I am tring to remove and install a water pump on a Chevy metro 2001 lsi.I would like some advice on how to remove and install a water pump.Thanks.
The upstream O2 sensor on a 2001 Chevy Metro is located in the exhaust system, specifically before the catalytic converter. It is typically mounted on the exhaust manifold or the front pipe, where it can measure the oxygen content in the exhaust gases coming directly from the engine. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and potentially remove heat shields or other components.
In front of and behind the catalytic converter.
I have a 99 Metro 1.3L. This car has two oxygen sensors, one in the exhaust manifold and the other is after the Catalytic Converter. Hope that helps.
NO cable. it has a vehicle speed sensor bolted into the transmission. Electronic controlled.
