Ok, I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport (not a trac, but I believe most of the electrical system is similar).
My lights went off when I turned the switch that is toward the bottom of the rear view mirror all the way to the left.
is that even a full question?
Yes any tail lights/head lights, pretty much everything but doors will fit on both ford explorer sports and 4dr explorers between the years 1998 and 2001
In a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment ( mini fuse # 29 is a 15 amp fuse for the fog lights )
According to the 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Owner Guide : ( the head lights take bulb # 9007 )
Check in the center stack of the dash , just to the right of the radio I believe there is a push button to turn the fog lights on and off
Typically it is because the connector inside the console that electronically switches the 4wd system on is not connected properly...This happened to me...I pulled it out and pushed it back in and the lights went off when in 2wd or Auto 4wd mode...
take it to a mechanic I dont wanna "break lights"
The fuse for your 2002 Ford Explorer Sport is similar to that of the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport.
The button is to the right of the stereo head unit
When turning headlights on, pull out on headlight switch knob.
A Ford Explorer Sport is a 2 door model, while the Explorer Sport Trac is a 4 door model with a small pickup bed.
