How do you open a Chrysler Town and Country power liftgate?

With the key fob......

For a 2001-2003: Press the liftgate button. You will see the taillights and headlights flash twice, and hear a few short beeps (warning the people in front of it to move out of the way) and then it will open. To close it, press the liftgate button. You see the taillights and headlights flash twice, and will hear a few short beeps. (warning the people under to move out of the way) and it will close and lock into place.

For a 2004-2009: Press the liftgate button two times quick and then you will see the taillights and headlights flash twice, and hear a few short beeps (warning the people in front of it to move out of the way) and then it will open. To close it, press the liftagate button two times quick. You see the taillights and headlights flash twice, and will hear a few short beeps. (warning the people under to move out of the way) and it will close and lock into place.

With the overhead console......

For a 2001-2009: Press the liftgate button. You will hear a few short beeps (warning the people in front of it to move out of the way) and then it will open. To close it, press the liftgate button. You will hear a few short beeps (warning the people under it to move out of the way) and then it will close and lock into place.

With the button on the opener/closer inside liftgate (to close only)........

2008-2009: Press the liftgate button on the opener/closer inside liftage. Then, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!! The taillights and headlights will flash twice, and it will beep a few short times. It will close and lock into place.

(The reason I did not list 2001-2007, is because the button was not

put there yet)
