How do you program a keyless remote control for your 1998 Chevy blazer?

have remote and key in separate hand get in the vehicle put the key in the ignition hold down the the power unlock button on the the door panel and switch the vehicle on and off on and off and on and off three times then release the the power door lock button the locks should cycle a couple of times on there own to show ready for programm if so then take the remote press and hold down the the lock and unlock button at the same time until you hear the locks cycle on there own could take upto 15 seconds but usually only a couple if this happens you must programm an additional remote in the same setting only two can be program for the blazer when done switck ignition back on to deactivate and your good to go.
