Well first, unhook eveything, and then remove the subframe on the driver's side and the tranny should drop rite out.
You have to pull the transmission...sorry
You have to remove the transmission to get to the clutch slave cylinder on that truck. You can pull the engine if you want and get to it. YOUR CHOICE.
While the truck is running in idle pull out the dip stick and read it.
No

pull out the fuse
yes
no you cant you have to pull the transmission out(all the way out) to get to the slave cylinder theres no way around it sorry. i have a 95 cavalier myself and ive changed it twice. hope this helps
If you are sitting on any kind of slope, your transmission has tension on it, making it hard to change gears. Pull your car onto a level place then try it should be easier. If not then your transmission is messed up.
ANY transmission shop would have this tool. this is a two piece axle seal that is really difficult to change. I do not recommend it to anyone without any experience
On a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier, the transmission fluid dipstick is located near the back of the engine compartment, typically on the driver's side. It is usually positioned near the firewall and can be identified by its bright yellow or orange handle. To check the transmission fluid level, make sure the engine is running and the vehicle is in park, then pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and check the fluid level against the markings on the dipstick.
