To put a fan belt on a 1978 Jeep Wagoneer, first ensure the engine is off and cool. Loosen the tensioner or alternator bracket bolts to allow for slack in the old belt and remove it. Route the new belt around the pulleys according to the belt diagram, ensuring it sits correctly in the grooves. Finally, adjust the tension by repositioning the alternator or tensioner, then tighten the bolts to secure the belt in place.
It is not a direct swap. They are not the same engine. The Jeep is an old AMC engine, the other is Chrysler.
Yes you should be able to make this swap.
remove the old belt and remove your trouser's belt off and put into the fan
take the fan belt off and put another one on...
A fan belt diagram can be obtained from most auto-parts stores. The store that the fan belt was purchased from will most likely have a fan belt diagram.
Put your new fan belt around the pulleys of your 1992 Chevy Blazer. Tighten the fan belt with the tensioner pulley.
On what?
on the 89 jeep grand wagoneer there is a lever on the pasanger side between the seat back and the wheel well. The lever is a flat piece of metal that you pull forward to release the lock. the back will fold down and the whole seat tips forward. I hope this helps
You have to take off the alternator to be able to reach the fan . After you should oiul the belt to slip on the fan very easy . Put the alternator back on and your ready to go .
The 1990 dodge caravan has a transverse mounted engine therefore it doesn't have a fan belt!
This is a trick question isn't it? My MH Barina (5 door) has an electronic radiator fan. That is, it is driven by an electric motor rather than a fan belt.
this depends upon your abilities and knowledge. with the right tools and lots of knowledge you can put any engine in the jeep. you may have to do some major modifications depending upon the engine. the big question is, is it worth the time and money.
