To remove the dash center panel on a 1968 Firebird, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and disconnect the battery. Next, carefully remove any screws or bolts securing the panel, usually located around the edges. Gently pry the panel away from the dashboard, taking care not to damage any clips or wiring attached to it. Once free, you can disconnect any electrical connectors if necessary.
remove black plastic panel on inside behind mirror. remove switch panel by pushing forward then lifting up. disconnect wiring. remove panel covering door handle[one screw]. remove screw behind this panel. remove screw at top of arm rest from underneath rest. remove screw from underneath back corner of armrest.now lift straight up on door panel.

Under the cover there should be two screws. On my '02 Firebird they were a star screw. Taking those two screws off let the panel come out.
You can find the 1994 Pontiac Firebird window relay switch inside of the drivers side door. You will need to remove the drivers side door panel in order to access the window relay switch.
you have to take the A pillar covers off. the top dash is held on by velcro.. so pry off very carefully

The 1994 Pontiac Firebird horn relay switch can be found on the inside of the front quarter panel. The horn relay switch will be on the drivers side quarter panel.
Remove the positive battery cable from your 1994 Firebird battery. Remove the cables from the front of your starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.

Using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the panel, remove the clips from the panel, and pull the panel away gently. Remove any wiring connectors, and remove the panel from the frame.
