To remove the dashboard from a 1999 Pontiac Firebird, start by disconnecting the battery to ensure safety. Remove the screws and bolts securing the dash, which are typically located around the instrument cluster and at the edges. Carefully detach any wiring harnesses, climate control components, and any trim pieces that may obstruct the removal. Finally, gently pull the dashboard away from the frame, being cautious of any remaining connections.

With some modifications anything could happen but is better if you get the dash wiring for the 79 firebird.
