You can try a spray like WD40 or some other rust penetrating oil, but I've found that they seldom work. Try lightly tapping on the bolt but not hard enough to MASH or distort the metal (it doesn't work too well for a siezed nut). If that doesn't work, try a little heat. spray well with crc lubricant several times and let soak in for a period of time before you try to break lugs free

The Spare tire is located under the rear of the vehicle. There is a long bolt that secures thehanger. The head of the bolt can be accessed from the inside of the vehicle. Just inside the rear door the carpet in the floor has a small cut. Lift the cut in the carpet to gain access to the long bolt and use the tire iron to loosen the bolt. The spare tire hanger will lower along with the spare tire.

Simple, remove both saddle bags, jack up the bike, loosen the swing arm tent ion bolt ( on the right side) remove the bolts that hold the brake cal. And the bracket that holds it on. Loosen the axel bolt from the left side ( watch the jack height, jack up just enough to take the pressure off the tire) remove the bolt and pull the axel out from the right side ( spinning the axel as you remove it will help) once the axel is out , jack the bike to the highest point and remove the tire(you will have to lean the tire to the side to clear the frame. And that is it. I just did it on my 06 RSTD good luck.
with the motorcycle on the ground install tire change tool from tool kit across the tabs on the frame then put motorcycle on center stand. Remove rear fender bolts to raise rear fender, remove axle bolt then remove rear tire.
Simply remove the rear tire of which ever side youre working on then remove the bolt that connects to the knuckle then remove the bolt from the other side of the toe link close to the middle of the differential
