Most older GM headlight switches are removed by (diconnect battery) reaching under dash to the headlight switch and depressing the small release button at the top of the switch while pulling on the stem for the switch then unplug the wire harness. There is a stem nut behind the knob that fastens the assy to the dash surface.
Remove 2 nuts that hold it in place and disconnect it form the headlight. It should pivot out of position.
To replace the dimmer switch on a 1977 Corvette, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Remove the dashboard panel to access the dimmer switch, which is typically located near the headlight switch. Unscrew the old dimmer switch and carefully disconnect the wiring harness. Install the new dimmer switch by reversing these steps, making sure to reconnect the wiring securely before reassembling the dashboard.

Take the screws out of the metal headlight ring and the headlight will come right out.
Dodge Diplomat was created in 1977.
The windshield wiper circuit on a 1977 Dodge 150 typically consists of a wiper motor, a switch, and a relay. The switch controls the motor's operation, allowing for different speeds and intermittent settings. Power flows from the battery through the switch to the motor, and the relay may be used to manage the current for better efficiency. If issues arise, common troubleshooting steps include checking fuses, inspecting the wiring, and testing the motor for functionality.
