2 clips on bottom of bezel have to be pushed up via a very slim device such as a putty knife, etc and then pulled out & down to get free of the top retainer hooks. Tape secures both sides of the bezel to the tailgate so a hard pull may be necessary. (9 out of 10 times the bottom bezel clips break during removal)
To remove the tailgate bezel on a 2010 Chevy Silverado, first, lower the tailgate and locate the screws securing the bezel, typically found on the underside. Use a screwdriver to remove these screws. Once unscrewed, gently pry the bezel away from the tailgate, starting from one end and working your way to the other to avoid breaking any clips. Finally, disconnect any wiring harness if applicable, and the bezel should come off easily.
First you need to remove the trim bezel around the handle on the outside of the tailgate. Then remove the three bolts on the inside of the tailgate, that hold the handle in place. Next remove the latching mechanism rods from the handle, and remove the handle from the tailgate.
Chances are that your tailgate doesn't keep opening, rather it isn't latching properly. I had a '97 with a similar issue. You need to remove the tailgate handle bezel, and you may be able to lubricate the handle mechanism from that point. Use a white lithium spray grease, or a graphite lubricant. If not, you will need to remove the mechanism from the tailgate.
To remove the rear light bezel on a 1992 Chevy Cavalier, start by opening the trunk and locating the screws or bolts securing the bezel. Remove these fasteners, typically found at the edges of the bezel. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the bezel away from the body of the car, being careful not to break any clips. Finally, disconnect any electrical connectors if necessary, and the bezel should come off easily.
Remove the two screws at the top of the instrument cluster. This will allow you to pull out the entire bezel. Pull out the bezel, and pop the switch out from the bezel.
Most often the cause is two broken clips inside the tail gate mechanism. By pushing upwards you can remove the plastic bezel around the tailgate handle; its just snapped into place. You should now be able to see the mechanism under the handle. There are two metal bars coming in from the sides of the tailgate. These operate the latches on either side of the tailgate. They are attached to the central tailgate handle mechanism by plastic clips. One is pink and one is green; colored to indicate whether they go on the right or the left. You can get these clips from a dealership for about 5 bucks a piece. Hope that helps.
General Chevy info, remove door hande bezel, remove armrest, remove window crank if it has manual windows.(there is a clip on the crank) Start at the bottom and gently pry panel up pulling plasic clips out of holes in door. When panel is loose it will lift off of window ledge. If you have power windows or locks you will have to unplug the switches carefully
IDK, but i do kno that u cant put a standard sized radio/cd player in unless you build a custom bezel cover, otherwise u have to buy a big stereo/cd player that takes up double the space of a regular one.
No
No it will not without some modification. Your stock opening is 1.5 din. So you will need to do some cuting to your stock bezel, and modify your mounting bracket.
remove bezel that covers radio and hvac controls, two ten millimeter bolt hold it in, unhook wiring pack(s) and antenna wire.
there are two nuts on the bezel behind the dash. you can reach them from underneath.
