To remove the fuse panel cover on a 2007 Chevy Cobalt, locate the fuse panel, which is typically found on the driver's side of the dashboard. Gently pull the cover off by grasping it and pulling it towards you; it may have small retaining clips that require a bit of force to release. Be cautious not to damage the clips or the panel itself. underneath the steering wheel there is a cover remove it and there is your fuse panel. it is a tight fit though
You must first remove the cover from behind the door open lever and the cover from the door handle....then remove the screws.... then remove the cover for the mirror that's on the inside its snaps off so a firm pull should do the trick, and then the same for the door it has like 20 or 25 snaps that all have to be undone... a quick pull will snap it out and then I'm sure you can figure the rest out :-)

Open your hood and pull the body clips out of the front black panel. After doing so you should be able to remove it with a socket wrench and then just disconnect the wires.

Using a screw driver, remove the screws and the clips in the panel of the door and remove the panel gently. Remove any wiring connectors between the panel and the door, then remove the panel the rest of the way.
Remove the instrument panel cover. Remove the instrument panel retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the gauges. The instrument panel will come out.
inside the transmission....you have to remove the side panel to get to it. It is a job for a dealer...cost will be about $800. The A-frame needs dropped along with the rack, and the tranny tilted back.
