How do you remove the dash of a 1994 grand caravan to get to the radio?

AnswerIf the dash is the same as a 1993, the dash panel for the radio is just clipped in. You just need to pull carefully and it will pop off. I usually start from the top and work downwards. AnswerIt is not the same as a 93, the dash on the 94 is much harder to get into. The entire trim comes off around the radio and the instrument panel. The black plastic trim is one piece from around the radio all the way over to the driver's side door. there are hidden screws that require taking off the top cover of the dash up near the windshield to access them. The cover all the way up by the winshield simply prys off and the rest are held on with screws. The "information center" with all the lights in it must be removed as well to access hidden screws. The screws that hold the "information center" in place are hidden under the little strip that looks like a grill right in front of it. That little cover pops off by carefully prying it up with a screwdriver. Once you have all screws removed, slide the entire panel towards you being careful of wires attached to the back of it. Once you pull it straight out, it will tilt out of the way enough to access the 2 screws that hold the radio in place. It is not dificult to do this, it just requires some patience to locate all the hidden screws under the other top pieces on the dashboard.

The heater vents below the radio pop off easily enough, makes it easier to remove the one or two screws holding the panel above it
