I have removed my door panel for various reasons several times. The first and big mistake I made was not removing the bolt that securely fastens the door panel to the door. I knew it was there but over looked it. It is nested DEEP inside the door pull. Get a flash light to locate it. It is there. After you remove it, remove the door latch shell by removing one screw, then proceed around the edge of the door panel with a putty knife or large flat blade screw driver and pop out the press in place plastic holders. The window and door lock panel can be poped up and slid down through the hole where it normally sets. The door panel can now be raised to clear the window lip and removed from the door. Hope this helps.
