Removal of the passenger airbag will not provide access to the heater core. The entire dash and HVAC housing need removed.
You shouldn't remove the airbag and subsequently drive without a passenger side airbag. The only purpose to remove the air bag in that case is to kill the passenger. The alteration or removal of an airbag resulting in death is an act that will face criminal prosecution. My 2001 Dodge 3500 passenger side airbag can be disarmed with the key on the dash. No need to remove it.
A 1994 Ram does not have a passenger side airbag.
No.
in the heater box behind the dash on the passenger side of the truck you have to remove the dash to get to it
No.
Remove the complete dashboard. This is NOT an easy thing to do! It is back there in the center behind the radio and passenger airbag.
There is no way to disarm a driver airbag on a 1994 Dodge Ram. Most vehicles will only let a person disarm the passenger airbag.
unbolts on passenger side on the firewall and pulls out through the interior.
i have a 2000 dodge 2500, i replaced mine last year and it sucks, you first have to remove the WHOLE dash, then on the passenger side there is a black case where you remove the top half, then you start removing the guts until you find the heater core on the bottom, and that will get you started..... i have a 2000 dodge 2500, i replaced mine last year and it sucks, you first have to remove the WHOLE dash, then on the passenger side there is a black case where you remove the top half, then you start removing the guts until you find the heater core on the bottom, and that will get you started.....
