I'm assumng that you're talking about a brake rotor. If that's the case, start by removing the wheel. I am also assuming that you are smart enough to use a jack ond or stands. Take a large c-clamp and put one side on the beake pad closest to you. Compress the caliper. Next take a pair of pliers and squeeze the triangle shaped dowell pins and at the same time push them to the back of the caliper. There is one at the top and the bottom. Remove the caliper and rear pad. Remove dust cap (in the center of the rotor) by prying it off with a flat head screw driver, start at one spot and work your way around. Remove the cotter pin, (a can of brake parts cleaner should take care of the grease) remove nut cap, remove nut, pull rotor, bearings will come off with it. Wa la!! rotor is off.
You remove the tire and wheel, then the brake caliper, followed by the caliper holding frame. Now the rotor will be free.
