I recommend using an awl for this, but a good pair of needle nose pliers will work. You'll also need a large screwdriver. First, remove the washer fluid line from the wiper. I'd use a grease pencil to mark the position of the blade on the window to made intallation easier. On the wiper arm, there is a little 'U' shaped tab, which is spring loaded and fits into the groove of the wiper motor pinion. Using the awl (or pliers), pry the tab away from the pinion, and using the screwdriver (wrap the screwdriver in a rag or something similar to prevent scratching your paint!) pry upwards on the arm. The arm itself has a strong spring on it, so you might have to lift on the wiper to help in getting it off. There might be a tool for this job, but since I'm a self-taught shade-tree mechanic, I use what's at hand! Good luck.
Its attached to the windshield wiper motor you will have to remove the cowl to get access to it.
The motors, both for the front and the rear, are located at the very bottom of the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. To gain access to them, you have to remove the battery and the battery plate, along with several other bolts that you gain access to from under the car.
You lift up the wiper arm and look for a clip to press at the end of the wiper arm. Slide off old wiper blade and clip on the new one. I did them both today and took less than 5 minutes.
To remove the wiper arms on a 1995 Chevrolet Suburban, first lift the wiper arms away from the windshield to a vertical position. Locate the small retaining nut at the base of each wiper arm and use a socket wrench to remove it. Once the nut is removed, gently wiggle the wiper arm back and forth while pulling it upward to detach it from the splined shaft. Be cautious not to damage the windshield or the wiper motor during the process.
Drain the fluid from the reservoir. Reservoir drain tube. Remove the wiper reservoir retaining bolts. The wiper reservoir will come off.
Remove the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the retaining nut. Reverse the process to install the new windshield wiper motor.
Yes, there is a windshield wiper relay on a 1992 Chevy Lumina. The windshield wiper relay is located in the underhood fuse panel.
The 2007-2010 Chevrolet and GMC Suburban takes a special 12" rear wiper blade. (also 22" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front).
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
