To replace the airbag module in a 2000 Chevrolet Impala, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the dashboard and any components obstructing access to the airbag module, typically located under the steering column or dashboard. Disconnect the wiring harness from the module and remove the mounting screws to take out the old module. Install the new module in reverse order, reconnect the wiring harness, and reassemble the dashboard before reconnecting the battery. Always remember to have the airbag system checked with a diagnostic tool after replacement.
Flasher is incorporated with Hazard module. Remove front of dash to replace
There is no such thing as a bypass module. The best I can figure is the Body Control Module. If this is the case then you will have to find a shop with a scanner to do it. If you have NOT made the necessary repairs then the light WILL come back on.
