On my 1984 S10 Blazer (probably similar):
Remove hub cover, pull cotter pin, and little pressed metal thingy under cotter pin.
Use 36mm (or 1 3/8 or ?) deep socket with a LONG breaker bar (I needed a pipe, too) to break the axle nut free.
Break the lug nuts free, hoist up the wheel, remove the wheel, disk brake caliper (big Allen wrench for mine), and the three bolts that hold on the hub. Mine was too tight to use 1/2" drive: I needed a 3/8" drive and a short extension... and an 3/8"-to-1/2" adapter so I could get more leverage on it.
Pull the hub off: I am a blacksmith and am about to forge a gear puller since it is a holiday and the shops are closed, but you may want to have one on hand just in case, or just realize that you may need one. Some come off as easy as can be.
Installation is the reverse of disassembly, though you may need to clean things up for the seal/O-ring that comes with the new hub.
You could swap out the air cleaner assembly for a K&N air filter assembly.
Yes, you can put a 1998 4WD S10 drive-train on a 1997 Chevy Blazer. However, it will not be an easy process and will require a lot of work to get it installed correctly.

1991 Chevy s10 how to replace outside window weather strip

You replace the brakes on an ABS S10 the same way you replace brakes on a non ABS S10.
how do you replace dome light in s10 chey blazer?
2wd- P205 75r15 4WD- p235 75r15
A 4WD on a 2001 Chevy S10 Blazer does not work properly after changing its actuator and speed sensor probably due to shorted wires. Also check for loose wiring.Ê
Chevy did have a 4 cylinder in the S-10 but just like Ford does not offer 4WD with the 4 cylinder, Chevy may do the same. A search of "Chevy S-10 Specs" on Google will provide an answer.
