If its a Ford Mondeo diesel 2002 , the fuel pump is located under the rear seat covered by a large rubber gasket type cover.Unfortunately Ford in their wisdom didnt locate the hole directly above the pump and you can only release the electrical connector. to replace the pump involves dropping the fuel tank from beneath the car and unless your fairly handy with a spanner and have the facilities i would really reccommend a garage
