if it is a 3.5 like mine it is located right next to the thermostat and a 10mm wrench and 5 minutes
With an o2 sensor socket.
YesYes
The 1995 for Crown Victoria camshaft position sensor can be found on the back of the cylinder head. The camshaft position sensor will be labeled as such.
The Camshaft sensor is located under the cap and rotor of the distributor. This is a common failure on the 2.4L engine due to oil leakage into the distributor. how is the camshaft sensor replaced on 1995 Nissan altima. what other considerations are there.
There is no cam sensor on the 1995 year engine. GM. did not use a cam sensor on that year.
the camshaft sensor is located above the harmonic balcance on the front of the engine block it is easiest to access this from under neath the car to replace , remove wire harness from sensor remove bolt that holds sensor in block remove sensor.this will pop out of block, may need a small screw driverto get it started replace with new sensor, the attaching bracket will only go on , one way replace bolt reattach wire plug you have now replaced cam sensor
The camshaft sensor is the same as the crankshaft sensor it is local on the passenger side of the valve cover . And going down to your crankshaft inside the timing belt cover
i do believe that the camshaft sensor on the 3100 v6 motor is on the passeger side of the motor underneath the intake manifold and under the powersteering pump. i needed to replace the one on my 1996 lumina with that same motor and that's where i fould it. hope this helps.
Inside the distributor
