Raise the truck up and support with approriate weight rated Jack / frame Stands. Place the transmission in neutral. Make alignment marks at each end of the drive shaft to transmission and Rear end differential yoke for reinstall. Remove the 4 bolts/nuts on the rear universal joint yoke. Carefully using an appropriate prying tool, push the unbolted end of the universal joint forward until it clears the rear yoke. Wrap the universal joint with Duct Tape to keep the bearing cups from comming off and prevent the needle bearings from falling out. Remove the bolts/nuts holding the Carrier Bearing up to the support member & let the assembly down until you can slide the front Drive Shaft Yoke from tranny. Mark the center U-Joints to get them back correctly after installing the "Carrier Bearing". Examine the new bearing to see how it fits onto the Drive Shaft & exactly where U need to "Drive" the Bearing from the Shaft. Note also the "Direction" the "Old Bearing" is installed on the "Shaft" to get the "New Bearing" on properly. Clean up the "Shaft" with Abrasive Cloth for easy assembly, lube & install new Part. Reverse the "Disassembly Procedures" & install all hardware before re-greasing everything. I found this excellent tutorial while doing mine previously so I figured WHY take the effort to rewrite.
