How do you install / replace /remove the climate control in a Chevy venture 2004?
Tools needed:
1) Phillips screwdriver
2) 9/32 socket wrench / ratchet with extension
3) Flashlight
Steps:
1) Open the cupholder. Remove the two Phillips screws, one on the left side, and one on the right side of the cupholder. These screws are pointing towards the engine.
2) Open the floor console storage area (under the cupholder). Remove the two Phillips screws on the back. These screws are pointing towards the engine.
3) Carefully move the floor console storage out of the way, taking care not to rip out the wiring for the accessory outlet. Should be able to be moved to the passenger seating area in one piece.
3.5) Remove the cupholder? I'm not sure if that is necessary or not. I did remove it, by pulling up and out, but it took some work.
4) On your back, look under the cupholder. There are two screws pointing towards the ceiling that you need the to remove using the socket wrench. These screws are near to the engine side of the console, one on the left and one on the right.
5) Now the trim should swing freely at the bottom. Lift it out and up to free the tabs that are securing the top of the trim.
6) Now that the trim is off, it is easy to see that the climate control is held in with two Phillips screws. Remove the screws there and pull the climate control out.
7) Pull out the electrical connectors while pressing on the plastic tabs that secure them. If they don't want to come out, you could use a wide set of pliers to grab and pull on the connector while you press down on the plastic tab.
8) Done!

I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
Chevy Ventures have two heater hoses. One is located on the intake connection and the other located on the output connection.
