Hi. My name is Zach, and I have the same concern with my 2000 Lesabre. The Gas Gauge is erratic, once it gets to about 1/2 tank, the reading is all over the place. I looked in my Hanes manual, and other resources, and you have to buy the fuel pump/module assembly. It will end up costing upwards of $175 for the part. I don't know why GM made it all one assembly. My pump works just fine. On other cars, the sending unit is usually inexspensive. Go figure. Hope this helps a little.
