To replace the console light for the shifter on a 2006 Endeavor, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Next, remove the console cover by carefully prying it up with a trim removal tool, taking care not to damage any clips. Locate the bulb holder for the shifter light, remove the old bulb, and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the console cover and reconnect the battery.
The shifter light on the center console of a 1999 Honda Civic can be reached by removing the center console assembly. Loosen all of the proper screws and pull off the assembly. Once the bulb is visible replace the unit using an appropriate sized bulb.
You can't. There's a circuit board connected to the shifter with LEDs on it. You have to replace the whole shifter. P/N # 52104149AC
To replace the shifter light bulb on a Volvo 940 SE, first, remove the center console cover by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it away. Locate the bulb socket for the shifter light, twist it counterclockwise to remove it, and then pull out the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb, reinsert the socket, and reassemble the center console by securing it back in place. Finally, test the new bulb to ensure it works properly.

Finally, connect the shifter and test for proper operation before reassembling any surrounding trim.
my g6 heater and shifter console does not light up
lightbulb in shifter is blown. remove shifter cover to replace bulb
I do not beleive your jeep uses bulbs in the console. I have a 2000 grand cherokee and it uses a light strip that is part of the console and can only be replaced with the shifter assembly....... I plan to cut the wires from the light strip and install a pep boys console light that uses replacable bulbs....probably will just lay it in there as long as it is protected and safe... Good luck
I haven't done it (yet), but it should be pretty simple - there are about 6-8 Phillips screws to remove the console and access the shifter - from there you should be able to find the receptacles and change the bulbs. (I assume you mean the floor shifter lights, not the dash shift position indicator lights.)
Yes there is. If you have the floor mounted shifter there is a bulb in the console that is in need of replacement. Remove the panel to get at it.
