I do not beleive your jeep uses bulbs in the console. I have a 2000 grand cherokee and it uses a light strip that is part of the console and can only be replaced with the shifter assembly....... I plan to cut the wires from the light strip and install a pep boys console light that uses replacable bulbs....probably will just lay it in there as long as it is protected and safe... Good luck
Did you mean the Dome light? If it is, then, get a screwdriver and wrap a cloth on its tip then pry on the notch found on the border of the lens then remove the bulb from its holder. Be careful not to break or scratch the lens.
