Door Panels Removal & Installation 1. Remove the sail panel. 2. Remove the door panel by carefully lifting the panel upward to release the retaining clips. 3. Remove the electrical plugs that control the windows, exc. (Replace mirror) 4. The installation is the reverse of the removal.

Take the door panel off and there are 3 screws holding it on.
I think they are 10mm.
it depends on if the mirror is electric or not if it is then take the door panel off and then take the screws out of the mirror and the disconnect the wiring and the do the reverse to put new one on. if its not electrical the do the same except you don't have to unhook the wiring.
twist it out and twist in the new one or you can just replace the mirror
Anything from the 1997 to 2000 will fit.
It is on the passenger side on the engine above the transmission, down low.
If you mean "cabin air filter," there is not one on the 1997 Ford Expedition. I have a '97 Expedition Eddie Baur and have looked and researched thoroughly.
Take off the door panel and unbolt the mirror housing
take the axle out
It's on the passenger side of the motor under the valve cover.
Pull our the black panel on the inside of the door, This is only held in place by a small clip.Unscrew the three bolts holding the mirror in place.Put in the new mirror and screw it inwithout overtightning. Snap thepanel back on. 15 minute job
