It is under the passenger side dash. (Black with two plug ins and two screws holding it in.) Hard to replace but I have seen worse. When this burns out the fan runs on high even with the key out.
blower motor module
Under the dash on the passenger side below govebox
Something called a blower control module takes the place and is found in the hole where you would find a blower resistor, so there isn't a blower resistor in that vehicle. As far as the blower control module is concerned, the module is serviced as a unit. No part can be fixed or replaced. This is not to be confused with the control head in the dash. The blower control module is held into the heater box with two 8mm screws outside the firewall under the hood, where you would normally find the blower resistor pack.
i think what you are refering to is a blower staying on all the time, if so the blower motor has shorted the control module, you need to replace the blower motor and control module.
Follow the wires from the blower motor back toward the firewall. they attach to this module which is actually inside the vent. two screws and you can pull it out. easier if the blower is taken off first.
Disconnect the battery. Remove the ignition coils. Remove the ignition control module that was under the coils, and replace it.
The blower motor is located in the passengers compartment near the right side of the HVAC module...............
about 6" from blower motor "towards pass.side"has a four plug and two plug connection on it
Look by the passenger seat floor it is the flat black box located on the right side under the carpet. Hope this helps.
Behind glove-box, behind engine control module
the problem may be the blower control module.it is located under the hood by the blower motor itself,on the right side.it has a wirer connector plugged into it.remove batt connection.then remove module by removing the two small bolts.look at module one of the coil windings will be bad,if so replace module.
The 2000 Chevrolet Corvette blower motor control module can be found behind the passenger side dashboard. You will need to remove the dashboard in order to access the module.
