I just pulled my alternator out of my 2.0 2005 Ford focus. you have to remove it from the top. Removing the Power Steering fluid reservoir, Radiator reservoir, and the heat shield from the exhaust. Good luck. It wasn't fun. Also I am having a hard time finding a replacement under $250.
