To replace the blower motor in a 2000 Dodge Durango, first disconnect the negative battery cable. Then, remove the glove box to access the blower motor located behind it. Unplug the electrical connector from the motor, unscrew the mounting screws, and take out the old motor. Install the new motor by reversing the removal steps, ensuring all connections are secure before reassembling the glove box and reconnecting the battery.
You need to replace blower motor resistor.
Short of it is the resistor controls the fan speeds for the blower. Easy to replace and to my knowledge only available through a dealer.
The resistor is under the passenger dash just left of the blower motor
No such part exists
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out.
should be the connector in the ac housing closest to the blower motor
It is under the dash, behind the glove box.
Your truck has both. the resistor is between the switch & blower.thje resistor controls the blower speed
That's too bad
replace the blower motor switch
either the control head is bad or there is a blower motor resistor that is bad.
The blower motor for a 2002 Dodge Durango is located under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is typically found near the firewall, behind the glove compartment. To access it, you may need to remove the glove box and some panels for better visibility and reach.
