Open the rear cargo doors of the Safari. Besides the rear light housing there are two screws, aligned vertically. With a Phillips screwdriver unscrew the screws. Hold the housing in one hand and roll it to the outside direction of the van. There are 3 sets of wires from the harness which control the 3 bulbs in the light. Brake/tail light combo upper, side light middle and back up light lower. You may as well replace all 3 while you're in there. The bulbs come in 2 pack so you may want to do both sides at the same time. All of this is in your owners manual section 6.
