Probably either in the "convenience center", located at the driver's side kick panel, or inside the steering column housing.
Turn on the hazard switch (emergency blinkers). You should hear it under the dashboard on the drivers side. The emergency blinker and turn signal are each controlled by a different relay but the relays look alike. Once you've located the emergency blinker relay, the turn signal relay is nearby.
To replace a turn signal switch on a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, also known as a flash relay, the steering column must be removed. The flash relay is located under the turn signal. Remove the mounting hardware and the unit can be taken off.
first: remove the black plastic radiator cover (push-pins) then remove the two bolts holding the headlamp in unplugh the bulb harness and remove then you should see the turn signal housing. unplug the harnes and there are 2 small screws to remove.
Remove the front inner wheel well splash shield. Grasp the bulb socket and rotate it counter-clockwise to remove it from the lamp. Remove the bulb from the socket. Installation is the reverse of removal.
