You wil need.
Basic tools such as screw driver, one size is needed (not sure which) looks like a + head.
Open the glove box, inside there are 5 screws holding the inner front cover. Remove these placing them some where safe. You will need to wiggle the cover to get the arm out of the right hand side, this is not attached to anything.
Once removed the latch is removed with the same screw driver and two screws.
Remove the latch.
If its broken then you maybe able to glue the broken parts back together with super glue or buy another one from the internet.
replacing is the reverse of removal.
There are 2 screws on the inside that get removed and pull the latch down.
