Hi,
To replace the bulb for the headlight, you will need to remove the headlight assembly from the front of the van. This is actually pretty easy, as there are a few wing nuts that can be removed to get the assembly out. The only real hard part is that you have to pull the assembly straight out, from the retainers, to get to the back of the assembly. Then you just turn the plastic holder for the bulb and replace it.
One note: Be careful not to touch the replacement bulb with your fingers, as oil from your fingers will get on the bulb and that will heat up once the light is on. That will cause the glass of the bulb to crack and you will burn out the bulb in a very short time. Always where gloves when replacing these bulbs, or at least use a paper towel when handling the new bulb.
I have also included a link that shows the headlight and turn signal assemblies with some basic instructions and photos of how to do the job.
Good Luck, Greg

Yes, you can replace the deflector cap inside the headlight of a 2003 Chevy Avalanche. To do this, you'll need to remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle, which typically involves unplugging the wiring harness and removing screws or clips. Once the assembly is out, you can access the deflector cap and replace it as needed. Be sure to check for any specific instructions or diagrams in the vehicle's service manual for a more detailed guide.

To remove the headlight switch from a 2003 Chevy Venture van, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the decorative trim around the switch. Next, remove any screws securing the switch, disconnect the wiring harness from the back, and finally pull the switch out of the dashboard. Reinstall the new switch by reversing these steps.
