the ignition switch has the lock cylinder on it. It's @200 bucks form Advance auto. Should be pretty straightforward to change out. Some switches have rivets that get drilled out or chipped off(very soft metal) in order to change the switch and the new one will have new bolts included. Or it simply unbolts or unscrews out after removing the steering wheel bezel assy.
do not have a clue!!!!good luck though. i need the same answer only for a 1999 metro:(
Are you referring to a 200 model Metro? If so, there is no fuel filter to replace. 1998-2000 Metros have a fuel strainer in the tank. I have a 1999 Metro 3-cylinder and learned this over the summer when contacting the Chevrolet dealer. Are you referring to a 200 model Metro? The only way to fix the dimmer switch is to replace it I have tried cleaning it lubercating it. nothing will fix it for good .so i had to replace it. It is a factory item.
To replace the heater switch in the dash of a 2000 Metro, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Remove the dash panel covering the switch by unscrewing any screws and gently prying it off. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the old heater switch and remove it from the dashboard. Install the new switch by connecting the wiring harness and reassembling the dash panel, then reconnect the battery.
yes, if it's a 3 cylinder Mr Geo Metro yes, if it's a 3 cylinder Mr Geo Metro
To replace the dimmer switch on a 2000 Chevy Metro LSI, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the dashboard cover or panel to access the switch, typically held in place by screws or clips. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old dimmer switch, then remove it from the dashboard. Install the new dimmer switch by reversing the process, reconnecting the wiring, and securing everything back in place.
If the engines are the same size then yes (ie) 3 cylinder 1.0L to 3 cylinder 1.0L.
yes
Number one cylinder is the one closest to the passenger side fender.
it,s in the gas tank. drop the tank and just swap the new one for the old one
I had the same problem with a Japanese mini-truck. I found the Sunpro CP2010 model handles the 3 cylinder issue by an internal switch. 4 Wire hookup - hot, ground, light and coil.
it depends on the serves you try to switch it to
