To replace the oil sensor in a 2006 Pontiac G6, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Locate the oil pressure sensor, which is typically found near the oil filter on the engine block. Remove the electrical connector and unscrew the old sensor using a socket wrench. Install the new sensor, reconnect the electrical connector, and reattach the battery cable before starting the engine to check for leaks.
