I don't think this guy has any idea of how to do this.I said a2005 Ford Larit not a 1952 ford truck.This shift knob has a trigger you have to pull back in order to shift it and I no it does not just unscrew.I purchased the new shift knob and it has no threads and it looks like it just pushes in and locks but I am not sure.I would like someone that knows what there talking about to answer this question.Dave S.
