The speed sensor is located near the floorboard between the drive shaft coming through the firewall and the steering column inside. First disconnect the battery so the ABS bag doesn't deploy. Then take of the lower half / cover of the dashboard - 8 screws or something, then take of the black metal plate under the dash board which holds it on. Under that there are 2 large bolts holding the steering shaft in place - undo those. then down at the flooarboard...there is one bolt that goes through the steering shaft connecting the inside shaft to the outside shaft - undo that. then pull apart. the sensor is the black donut shaped chip which sets inside the housing...undo the wire plug / and then release the chip. Resassemble reverse of how you took apart. the key to getting the 2 shafts back together is to have someone shake the steerign wheen back and forth while puting the shafts back together - good luck...its about a 45 - 1 hr project. (i got better the second time - that sensor is a poorly made part, pain in the rear.
