Hope this helps...I just replaced the right turn signal bulb on 2001 Pontiac GTP. Imagine it is very similar to yours. Inside the trunk, pull the carpet back. Then unscrew the fasteners that are behind the lighting mechanism. Then the whole lighting mechanism pulls out (from the outside of the car) and the turn signal bulb is the one on the end.
