Take off the interior panel on the inside of the door. This will expose the window motor. If it doesn't, just keep taking things off till you can see the motor.
Word of warning - some car doors are welded together into one piece of metal and removing the motor is next to impossible. I have had this problem on a couple of BMWs and the only solution was to get a new door. However they were older cars, a 2004 Chevy should have plenty of tech support available at a garage/dealer if you encounter problems.

Remove the inside door panel of your 2002 Chevy Cavalier. Remove the window motor wiring harness. Remove the window motor linkage. Remove the window motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new window motor.
