To replace the water pump on a 1994 Chrysler LeBaron with a V6 3.0 engine, first disconnect the negative battery cable and drain the coolant. Remove the serpentine belt, then take off any components blocking access to the water pump, such as the timing cover or bracket. Unbolt the water pump from the engine block, clean the mating surfaces, and install the new pump with a new gasket. Reassemble everything in reverse order, refill the coolant, and reconnect the battery.
