stub replace
Wheels run out of track, tyres overheat and blow out. Wheel hubs can self weld to the stub axle and snap off
I had to replace mine after it broke. All I did was remove the OLD stub with a crescent wrench and replace it. It took about 1 minute. That is all you have to do.
You replace it as part of the rear disc assembly. Remove rear wheel and hub nut cover undo hub nut, then remove the rear caliper and pull the disc off the stub axle.
the only thing i can think of would be a puller to remove the inner race from the stub axle, they tend to stick together alot!! AT
If the wheel is bent; bearing , tie rod end, or steering rack damage can be the result. If it's a rear wheel trailing arm and stub axle damage are high on the list.

Remove the rotor. Knock the remaining stub out with a hammer and punch. Go to a parts store and buy a new stud/w nut. Place the new stud into the hub, and draw it down tight with the nut, installed temporarily backwards.
the wheel bearing will wear out. worst scenario, is the whell will fall off causing considerable damage ,maybe even a wreck. can also cause bearing to get hot , and weld bearing race to axle stub, requiring replacement of this hub it is not a big or expensive job to have a wheel bearing replaced. the ABS sensor is not on the bearing and will not need replacing if you replace the bearings
Because in single stub method stub position has to be adjustible which create error......this is notin the case of double stub position method.........
