MARCH 10, 1995, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES AND NOTED
IN THE 1995 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN MANUAL (PUBLICATION NO.
81-699-96084). ALL REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND
INCLUDE ADDITIONAL MODEL YEARS AND PART NUMBER CHANGE.
SUBJECT:
Door Glass Lift Plate Service
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing door glass lift plates.
MODELS:
1993 - **2001** (LH) Concorde/Intrepid/LHS/
New Yorker/Vision/300M
DISCUSSION:
Door glass lift plates are now serviced separately from the glass. Anytime the door glass is
intact and the lift plate(s) is worn or damaged, perform the repair procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
AR(2) **04878907AA** Lift Plate, Door Glass
AR NPN Urethane Windshield Sealer (3M p/n
08609 or Equivalent)
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE
SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR OTHER
FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.
1. Remove door trim panel and upper trim retainer channel.
2. Connect power window switch and lower window to 50 mm (2 in.)
3. Loosen screws holding regulator roller channel to glass.
4. Slide roller channel rearward to allow screw heads to pass through key slots in channel.
5. Separate glass from roller channel.
6. Raise glass upward and out of opening at top of door.
7. Mark location of liftplate(s) on glass.
8. Heat lift plate with propane torch or heat gun to soften urethane and pry lift plate from
glass by inserting flat screw driver between edge of glass and plate.

9. Clean any remaining urethane from glass surface.
10. Apply urethane windshield sealer to channel in new lift plate.
11. Push and/or tap plate onto glass in the previously marked position.
12. Allow urethane to harden for at least 12 hours before operating window (longer times are
required if temperature is below 50 degrees F.).
NOTE: URETHANE SHOULD SET FOR 1 HOUR BEFORE HANDLING/INSTALLING
THE GLASS. THE REMAINING CURE TIME CAN BE ACHIEVED IF THE WINDOW IS
INSTALLED AND LOCKED IN THE UP POSITION FOR THE SPECIFIED TIME. THIS
WILL ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER WITH THE
WINDOW HANDLE OR SWITCH TAPED TO PREVENT USE.
13. Reverse removal instructions to install glass in door.
Pull out the U-clip located on the base of the window crank.
remove the clip retaining crank to the regulator shaft, this requires a special tool available at most parts houses.
Most window handles are either held on with a screw or a clip. Your has a clip and you need a window handle removal tool to get the clip off. They are inexpensive and most auto parts stores sell them.
It is held on by a small wire clip on the inboard side.It is held on by a small wire clip on the inboard side.
Pry up clip on ends and pull off.
Remove the door trim panel.Then clip the window regulator cables. Push window up and tape it in place until you can replace the regulator

With the hood up look at the outer end of the Headlight, You will see what looks like a snap together piece. wiggle the corner light and this will help you to see the clip that has to be moved in order for the light to slide out so you can change the bulb...I myself just put new headlights in my 96 dodge intrepid.
there are two tourqu screws one on each side undo thes and slide out light then release the clip on the bulb from the back side and slide out the bulb
pull down on both sides there is a clip on both lf and rt side I did this a week ago to change my bulbs, yes no one could answer this for me also.
Remove the two screws at the top of the fog light in the front.Undo the two tabs holding the cover on to the backside of the fog light.Disconnect the wire on the bulb and remove the metal clip that holds the bulb in place.An instructional video has been included below.
